Every little kid fools around with a remote control car at some point in his or her life. China's BYDBYDChina, 2002 > present3 models

has taken that to a whole other level on their F3BYD F3China, 2008 > present1 photo
, though.
The car, which is basically a copy of a Toyota Corolla, is offered with an optional remote control. The car synchs with its key fob to allow drivers to drive the car at up to 2km/h over 10 feet. BYD says that it is meant for parking the car in tight situations or driving the car to you when it rains.
Although technically and aesthetically the BYD F3, the remote control version gets its own model name, the Su Rui, which means "quick and sharp."
The video appears to show the car leaking pretty heavily, but perhaps that is just condensation from the air conditioning.
The F3 uses a 1.5-liter engine and a five-speed manual, six-speed manual or CVT. Obviously the self-driving feature would only be available on the CVT.
