Citroen shows a glimpse of its future: the Tubik

UPDATE: Images added of the Tubik at the Frankfurt Motor Show, 14.09.2011

Citroen has come up with the Tubik, a high-tech executive shuttle with hybrid power. Citroen claim that the Tubik is the end result of a number of studies carried out to explore the future of mobility.

Citroen think that travel should be fun, and the Tubik is designed to facilitate this, the interior pictures show a versatile interior with seats that swivel and plenty of funky colours.

The Tubik comes with an online portal and route finder that looks at all modes of transport (including trains and planes) to make travel as easy as possible.

While this is quite clearly a concept car, it provides an interesting insight into Citroens vision for the future, and it looks like they see the future eco friendly and convenience based. Not much of a surprise there, then.

That is a huge downer from the GT by Citroen concept. So, I don't even know what to say. Someone talk for me.

It's one more of the crazy Citroën concepts! doesn't work for me...although the idea of such a comfortable trip would be very nice!

I like it. Looks like something out of this movie (Blade Runner): eclecticdynamite.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/blade_runner1.jpg

It looks good but it will never make to production like that.
