Citroen Working on 3CV Supermini with Retro-inspired Styling

Citroen has made some faboulously quirky cars in its history from the downright weird looking Ami to the wonderfully beautiful C6. Given the success that it has had with the DS line of cars, Citroen thinks that there is room to inject even more quirkiness into the lineup. 

Britain's Car Magazine is reporting that Citroen will build a car called the 3CV for 2013. According to Car, it will be a supermini simultaneouly inspired by the Ami, 2CV and GS. Citroen has been showing the Revolte concept for awhile that blends these ideas. The new car could look something like it. 

Car got a few other scoops about Citroen as well. It plans to expand the DS line-up with a DS3 Cabrio, DS4 compact SUV and DS6, which will be a smaller version of the Metropolis concept car.
