The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2012 is among Europe's elite classic car shows. The event, which is situated on the banks of Lake Como, is open by invitation only, and if often highlights some of the most rare and expensive cars in automotive history.
This year the show will highlight motorcycles, bubble cars and a collection of very rare sports cars. There will be 30 bubble cars in attendance and 30 motorcycles. Some of the rarer cars at the show will be a 1962 Ferrari GTO Berlinetta Scaglietti, 1959 Aston Martin DBR1 and 1957 Fiat Abarth 500 Coupe Zagato.
“These cars simply ooze charm, and with the Isetta we also have a representative of this hugely appealing vehicle segment,” said Karl Baumer an organizer of the event and Director of BMW Group Classic.
The show is definitely won to remember. Last year, Aston Martin used the show as an opportunity to debut the V12 Zagato to the world.
The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2012 runs from May 25-27.
