The FIA has published the official and final 2014 Formula One Calendar, and there are some big changes since the previous calendar that still had provisional races.
Next year's calendar will feature 19 races, including the removal of the Korean Grand Prix and the Indian Grand Prix no longer being on the schedule. In place of those races, Formula 1 will go to Sochi, Russia, and to the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
The provisional rounds of the New Jersey Grand Prix and Mexican Grand Prix have also been removed from the latest calendar. Both races were removed due to financial problems. Korea was removed for the same reason.
There is some minor rescheduling from the previous calendar as well. The United States Grand Prix will be on November 2, instead of November 9. The Brazilian Grand Prix will be on November 9, instead of November 20, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix moves to November 23, instead of October 26. Also the Japanese and Russian Grands Prix have been swapped compared to the provisional calendar so that the Japanese will now be first.
