Fiat debuts Punto Evo Essesse

Can any hatch ever be hot enough? Fiat already has an Abarth-tuned Punto Evo, but now buyers can get an even hotter Punto. 

The Abarth Punto Evo Essesse is a ₤3,000 kit, which can be purchased with the any standard Abarth Punto or added by the dealer. It uses an upgraded ECU to make 180hp, which is 15hp over the standard Abarth Punto. The boost in power cuts 0.4 of a second off the the sprint to 100 km/h. 

The Essesse kit also improves the Punto Evo's handling. The improved car gets fully floating Brembo brakes in the front and cross-drilled rotors in the rear. Abarth springs and Koni FSD shocks complement the suspension package. 

Despite the boost to performance the Essesse kit retains the Punto Evo's efficiency. It gives 47.1 mpg and 142 g/km of CO2, which is exactly the same as the regular Abarth Punto.
