has new models coming. The company announced during the Frankfurt Motor Show that the platform underneath the C-X17Jaguar C-X17United Kingdom, 2014 > 2014 crossover concept would be used on a future luxury sedan, and the C-X17 itself may make it to production as well. There are four new models in the queue to go on sale by 2018.
The big seller of the group is expected to be the smaller luxury sedan that Jaguar strategy head Adrian Hallmark says will “build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that segment. Not almost as good as, but better than the best in the world.”
Three of the new models will be based on the new modular platform that will debut on the smaller sedan. It will also get a station wagon version and the crossover. The fourth new car is the F-Type coupe, which is coming in 2014.
The modular platform is made of aluminum and created for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles. Many of the suspension components will also be aluminum. It will use Jaguar Land Rover’sLand RoverUnited Kingdom, 1978 > present15 models
