Kia updates Picanto in Geneva

Model receives the same type of updates of the Rio, Venga and Optima

models, the Korean brand launches a series of renovations that include design, equipment and engines.

Although subtle, the design changes to the new Kia Picanto include new bumpers and an updated grill. New alloy wheels and an optional exterior and interior sports package is also part of the renewal.

Inside changes include chrome additional finishes in air vents and on the instrument dials. Also introduced New materials and a new center console were also introduced. The options list will have a seven inches infotainment and navigation system.

To comply with the EU6 emissions standards, the 1.0-liter three-cylinder MPI has been updated. It is possible that before 2016 there will be the release of a more agile version with a turbo engine.

Sales of the new Picanto start in late March after the debut in Geneva.
