The “Hard Black” special edition of Lancia Delta is arriving this month to the European market. The special edition will be available with two engine options a 1.8-litre petrol powertrain and a 1.9-litre diesel engine.
The special edition Delta is painted in black matte colour and features black & chrome mirror caps, twin chromed exhaust and 18 inch alloy rims, which can optionally be ordered in the “Hard Black” color. The interior is finished with Starlite black leather and Alcantara. The “Hard Black” edition also features an auto adaptive suspension system, dual zone automatic climate control and the Blue & Me system.
The 1.8-litre petrol engine has an output of 200 hp and 320 Nm of torque thanks to the use it makes of the direct injection and turbocharging. Matted to a six-speed sportronic automatic gearbox it allows the Delta to reach 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and enables the car to reach a top speed of 230 km/h. It has a fuel consumption of 7.8 liters/100 km, emitting 185 grams of CO2/km.
As for the 1.9-litre diesel engine it reaches 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and is able to accelerate up to 222 km/h, delivering fuel consumption of 5.7 l/100km.
The Lancia Delta “Hard Back” will be sold at a base price of 31,300 euros regardless of the engine the car is equipped with.
A strong marketing offensive has been prepared by Lancia for this vehicle’s launch. This includes a participation in the Mandela Day, a benefiting action from the Mandela Foundation, which will be held in Monte Carlo on May 15.
