V8 will be revealed at the 2013 Top Marques Monaco in April where some of the most exclusive supercars are unveiled each year. The company says that it will only build five of the cars per year.
The Evantra V8 will be powered by a 7.0-liter V8 with dry sump lubrication with 701hp and 625lb-ft of torque with a six-speed sequential transmission. The engine and gearbox will have selectable Strada and Corsa modes.
Mazzanti claims that the car will accelerate to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 350km/h (218mph)
The car's design will be polarizing. Mazzanti says that it is meant to be a blend of the classic and modern, but it really looks like someone took a saw to a much more attractive car. For such an expensive vehicle, it will use a steel chassis with a chrome-molybdenum roll cage.
Mazzanti will offer two bodies for the car. The Pro-Body will be made from carbon fiber, and the One-Body will be made from aluminum.
The interiors will be bespoke to each car. Each car will have its own leather interior and will be open to buyers to specify it however they would like. The center console will have a data acquisition system and a Bosch stereo system.
The company had previously shown the car as simply the EvantraFaralli & Mazzanti EvantraItaly, 2013 > present10 photos
with a turbocharged 3.5-liter flat six with 603hp, but the company switched to the V8 for the production version.
