supercar is officially sold out meaning that all 375 of the cars have either been paid for entirely or have deposits put down on them.
The final few cars available were in Europe, and the cars for the Americas, Asia and Middle East had been pre-sold months ago.
McLaren says that it has completed 12 P1s already, and at full production it will complete one a day, which means by about this time next year all of the buyers will have their cars. McLaren says that about 75% of the buyers have opted to work with McLaren Special Operations to add bespoke features that tune the car specifically for the buyer.
The lack of cars available is not stopping McLaren from creating a waiting list for the P1. If any buyer changes their mind or does not have the money to pay for the rest of the car after the deposit, the firm says that it already has a list of people willing to step up.
