Audi revealed the estate version of the S4 at the Geneva Motor Show. The
S4 Avant is powered by the 3.0 liters V6 engine that allows performance improvements and fuel consumption compared to the previous version.
The new S4 Avant now features 354hp and 500Nm of torque that are directed to all four wheels via Audi quattro all wheel drive system, which allows the estate to reach 100km/h in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h.
Audi does not have the official figures of consumption and CO2 emissions of the S4 Avant, but forecasts point to 7.5l/100km and 175g/km of CO2. The brand indicates that consumption reduction was made possible thanks to the fact that the new engine is considerably lighter than the previous one. The engine is combined with an eight-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission.
In order to improve stability at high speed, the new S4 Avant, like the
S4 Sedan, is equipped with five new suspension links.
Like other S versions, the S4 Avant also receives updates in terms of design compared to the
A4. In addition to small changes in the front air intakes, the S4 badging and the four exhaust tips integrated into the rear bumpers with metallic tone, the vehicle still gets upgraded wheels.
Inside, the S4 Avant receives Nappa trimming with diamond stitching and S badges in black, gray and red. S sports seats include integrated headrests, an adjustable arm rest and massage function.
