Not only will the car be built in France, but GM is planning on closing the Opel development center in Rüsselsheim that worked on the Ampera cutting 150 jobs. The new Zafira will be developed together by GM and Peugeot.
The Zafira is currently built at the Opel factory in Bochum, Germany, and in this new report GM says that it is planning on closing the factory in 2015.
