in France.

Not only will the car be built in France, but GM is planning on closing the Opel development center in Rüsselsheim that worked on the Ampera cutting 150 jobs. The new Zafira will be developed together by GM and Peugeot.

The Zafira is currently built at the Opel factory in Bochum, Germany, and in this new report GM says that it is planning on closing the factory in 2015.

Earlier in the week we reported on the warning strikes at Opel's Rüsselsheim and Bochum plants over the possibility that the next generation AstraAstra Gen.4 [J/D]Opel Astra Gen.4 [J/D]Germany, 2010 > 2015194 versions

could be built in Poland and England.

Further angering workers, an independent analysis showed that building the Astra in England would be €220 more expensive for each car.
