electric delivery van will go on sale in the next financial year, which means it will be available in March or April 2013. Federal Express has been testing 130 e-NV200s worldwide in the mean time. Most of FedEx's testing has happened in London, Yokohama, Singapore, the US and Brazil.
"Through the development and deployment of innovative technologies, FedEx Express has continually improved the energy efficiency and reduced the environmental impact of its fleet. We are delighted to collaborate with a global player like Nissan in the development of an urban all-electric delivery van," said Russell Musgrove, global vehicle manager for FedEX.

. It produces 107hp and 280Nm of torque and can carry 4.2m³ of load volume. Users can also tap into the extra power in the battery to use electric tools. The battery pack is located in the load floor, which lowers the car center of gravity over the conventional version.
"The feedback we have received already from drivers and operators using the vehicles as part of their everyday routine has already given us vital information which we will incorporate into the production version to ensure it meets, indeed exceeds, all their needs and requirements," said Hideto Murakami, head of Nissan's LCV business.
The e-NV200 is Nisan's second pure electric car to go on sale. It says that it will have two more by 2014.
