and is now available in the Meriva. It produces 134hp (136ps) and 236lb-ft (320Nm) of torque. It uses 4.4l/100km and emits 116g/km of CO2, which is 10% better than the 1.7-liter diesel it replaces but with better performance.
The Meriva is also still available with two tunes of a 1.4-liter petrol four-cylinder, and the LPG version of the engine. Engines equipped with an automatic get a refreshed, low friction six-speed, and the five- and six-speed manuals have also been upgraded with more precise shifting.
Inside, it gets the IntelliLink infotainment system with navigation and voice control that is displayed on a 7in screen. It also comes standard with Bluetooth, and the screen also functions as a rear view camera display.
The first deliveries of the refreshed model will begin in January, and Opel will announce prices in November.
