DS, a brand from the
Peugeot-
Citroën group, revealed a few weeks before the Frankfurt Motor Show the facelift of the
DS4. Besides a new front design, the DS4 gets new headlights and a range of updated engines.
One of the big news is the creation of two variants within the DS4 model. In addition to the original five-door hatchback version, DS will now offer the DS4 Crossback version. The latter has some characteristics closer to a SUV, such as a ground clearance 30mm higher, a more rugged design, with larger tires, protective plates and roof racks.
Both variants will have front-wheel drive and will be available with a range of engines that comprises three turbo petrol engines and three diesel. They will be available with a manual six-speed gearbox and a six-speed automatic.
While the hatchback version will be available with the complete range of engines, the Crossback will have at its disposal only two petrol and two diesel. The power output will be between 120 and 210hp and fuel consumption was significantly reduced to values between 3.7 and 5,9l / 100km.
