will debut at the Paris Motor Show. The car is basically a coupe version of the Mini CountrymanMINI (BMW) Countryman Gen.1 [R60]Germany, 2010 > present54 versions

. In Europe, the Paceman will be offered with four engines, and it has a lower suspension than its Countryman sibling. All-wheel drive is also optional. It is the seventh model in the Mini lineup. 

The Paceman stands apart from the Countryman in its coupe-like styling. It has a curving roof, but the rear hatch still allows 330l of storage in the rear. 

The engine options for the Paceman range from 112hp to 184hp. The standard Paceman produces 122hp and accelerates to 100km/h in 10.4 seconds; it uses 6.0l/100km. The Cooper S Paceman has 184hp and accelerates to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds. It uses 6.1l100km. The D Paceman makes 112hp and accelerates to 100km/h in 10.8 seconds; it uses 4.4l/100km. The SD Paceman produces 143hp and accelerates to 100km/h in 9.2 seconds; it uses 4.6l/100km of diesel. All-wheel drive is available on the Cooper S Paceman, Cooper SD Paceman and Cooper D Paceman. Mini says that it is already working on a John Cooper Works version of the Paceman. 

All versions come with a six-speed manual standard but a six-speed automatic is optional. However, the automatic adds about 1.0l/100km to the fuel use and slows the 100km/h sprint by about a second for all models. 

The Paceman uses the same ALL4 all-wheel drive system as the countryman. It can send up to 100% of the car's power to the rear wheels if necessary. 

Standard Cooper and Cooper D models come with 16in wheels, and the Cooper S and SD get 17in wheels standard. There are 18in and 19in options available for all of the models, though. 

The interior is basically shared with the Countryman. All of the options are carried over including a multifunction steering wheel, front-center armrest, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, navigation, upgraded stereo and more. 

The car seats four with two captain's chairs in the rear.
