The Qashqai Nismo would get the red-accented body kit, upgraded handling and improved interior that the Juke Nismo also received, but the big upgrade would be the 212hp 1.6-liter turbocharged engine from the Juke Nismo RS.
"I'm adamant that Nismo should be about more than just more power. I want us to focus on ride and handling, making cars that aren't just faster, but also feel obviously more fun to drive," said Andy Palmer, Nissan's global product planning boss.
