Land Rover will be launching at this year’s Geneva Motor Show a hand-finished exclusive edition of the Range Rover called: Autobiography Ultimate Edition.
Already known for its quality interior, Land Rover’s flagship model has been added with handcrafted luxury. It has been further enhanced with specially selected soft feel natural leathers.
New features include two new stand alone electric rear seats, which offer more space and comfort to the rear passengers. This would make the Autobiography Ultimate Edition a perfect chauffeur vehicle. New levels of luxury have been increased with the inclusion of a rear console extension that features a machined aluminium laptop table and drinks chiller, and two Apple iPads* as standard.
Other luxury features include the high-end semi-aniline leather seating and Oxford leather on the door casings, dashboard top and steering wheel. The Kalahari wood veneers are being used for the first time on the fascia and door top rolls and unique interior colourways of either dark cherry or Arabica are available.
The Ultimate Edition will be available in two new unique exterior colours, either Roussillon Red or Otago Stone, as well as body colour door handles, dark atlas radiator grille and side vents will also be available.
Fitted with new and unique 20” multi-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels, the Ultimate Edition will have a special tailgate badge.
The Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition will be powered by Land Rover’s V8 engine lineup that includes the new 4.4 litre LR-TDV8 Diesel and the LR-V8 5.0 Supercharged engine.
The new 4.4 litre LR-TDV8 Diesel engine is combined with a new eight-speed transmission featuring Drive Select with Paddle Shift as standard. This engine produces a maximum power of 313 PS and 700 Nm of torque, but delivers more fuel efficiency and 14% less CO2 emissions than its predecessor.
Thanks to the 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox the Ultimate Edition is able to reach the mark of 60 mph in 7.5 seconds and accelerate from 50 to 75 mph in 5.1 seconds.
With the LR-V8 5.0 Supercharged engine that will also be available, the Ultimate Edition produces a maximum output of 510PS and torque of 625 Nm. Thanks to it the Range Rover is able to go from a standstill to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds.
Designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK, only 500 units will be produced and sold in over 20 markets globally.
