The model is slightly modified over the regular Duster. Renault converted the car to right-hand driver, separate rear air conditioning with separate controls and a bench rear seat. It will be available in six colors.

Power comes from Renault's 1.5 dCi engines with either 110hp or 85hp and the 1.6l 104hp petrol engine.

“We are very excited about the product and we expect it to be a game changer for this segment. The new Duster is all about our commitment to Indian customers. We are not only introducing a new vehicle today but I am happy to say that we have also ramped up our dealer and after-sales network to reach out to customers all across India," Marc Nassif, Managing Director of Renault India.

The Duster has been on sale since 2010. It is the fifth model that Renault is selling in India. Because Renault went to the trouble of converting the car to right-hand drive, Renault will sell the Duster in the UK as a Dacia in 2013.
