After the launch of the Mégane and Mégane Sport Tourer,
Renault has just revealed the third variant of the Mégane family, the Mégane Grand Coupé, a sleek four-door sedan.
The Mégane Grand Coupé has a distinctive look that approaches it to upper class models. The design features sculpted surfaces, the familiar front Renault and also headlights with C-shaped graphics. The panoramic roof that connects the windshield and rear glass gives an extra elegance to the Grand Coupé.
The interior of the model follows the same characteristics of the remaining Mégane family, which includes a 7-inch instrument panel and a multimedia screen with the R-Link 2 system. The comfort and safety technologies include the Multi-Sense, Easy Park Assist, the Advanced Emergency Braking and Lane departure Warning systems.
The range available with the new Mégane Grand Coupé will include two petrol and three diesel engines. The 115hp SCe and 130hp TCe enginesare part of the gasoline offer while the diesel engines list includes the dCi 90, dCi 110 and dCi 130. Depending on the engine, Renault will provide five and six-speed manual gearboxes, a CVT and six and seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmissions.
The Mégane Grand Coupé will be produced at the Renault plant in Bursa, Turkey.
