has become a member of R20, a climate action group founded in 2010 by actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Renault-Nissan's environment leader Dr. Philippe Schulz and European Manager for Zero Emission Strategy Oliver Paturet spoke at the group's second international conference in Vienna on January 31 and February 1. 

The Vienna R20 Conference held a series of forums and presentations with the theme "Implementing the Sustainable Energy Future." Dr. Schulz's was titled "Energy Mix of the Future," and Paturet's was called "Technologies for a Smart Future."

R20 works with private companies and governments to promote reduced energy consumption and lower greenhouse gases. It attempts to combine economic viability with environmental benefit. It is working to create grassroots renewable energy generation projects in Mexico, Morocco, China and Brazil.
