Through the Talisman we can get to know some future design cues of the new generation of the Renault Megane which will also be launched in 2016.
The choice of name fell on Talisman because it transpire an image of protection and power. Furthermore Renault believes that this will be a name that will be more easily pronounced worldwide. The Talisman name is not new in the Renault range, as the French brand sells a a four-door sedan with this badge in ChinaRenault Talisman (modern) Gen.1France, 2013 > 20152 versions

The Talisman will be marketed with a range that includes two petrol engines and three diesel. The most efficient version of the range will be powered by the 1.4 liter diesel engine with 109hp, which combined with a manual six-speed gearbox has CO2 emissions of 95g/km. The 1.6 dCi 130 and dCi 160 engines are also offered alongside the 150 and 200hp petrol engines.
Renault revealed that the Talisman will also be available with the 4Control all-wheel drive system and active dampers that allow the driver to change driving configuration between Comfort, Sport, Eco and Neutral modes.
