The Latitude has been presented to the world for the first time by Renault. The French make published the first photographs of the new family saloon that will have its world premiere at the Moscow Motor Show, at the end of August, and will also be shown at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
The new Renault model will join the brand's high-end range and is directed to customers who are looking for status, quality and comfort in all its forms. With a length of 4.89m, width of 1.83 and height of 1.49m, the Latitude has both elegant and racy looks. The contours of the grille are flanked by distinctive bi-Xenon adaptive directional headlights, while chrome embellishments contribute to this idea. With one of the largest boots in its class, the Latitude’s rear lighting signature employs LED technology, combining with the rear strip which carries the new model's name.
The latest Renault model is based on the same architecture as the New SM5, which was recently launched in the Korean market. The new Renault Latitude will be fitted with a number of features that have been developed and assembled to the Alliance's highest standards. This includes a dual-mode air ionizer with double fragrance diffuser, triple-zone climate control, a massaging driver's seat, Bose Premium audio, the Renault hands-free card, etc.
The Latitude was developed to meet the demand of Renault’s different markets and is the brand’s spearhead for the saloon car range. Renault’s new model will be presented at the Moscow Motor Show, Russia, and is set to go on sale this autumn in Asia, Africa, Russia, Turkey, Gulf, Australia and Mexico.
As for the European version it will be shown at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and should be available at the end of the year.
