Renault has just unveiled the updated range of the Clio RS with new features in terms of design but also powertrains. The Trophy is the most powerful version of the new range.
Like the unveiled updates on
the Clio range, the Clio RS receives modifications on the grill, bumpers and rear lights. Furthermore the model gets unique front fog lights that create a checkered pattern on the front bumpers.
In order to provide different levels of sports features, the RS range of Clio will be sold with three different chassis, Sport, Cup and Trophy. The latter is the more sporty and the Sport is a more friendly road version.
The Clio RS is still powered with the 1.6-liter engine with two distinct outputs, 200hp for the Clio RS 200 EDC and 220hp for the Clio RS 220 Trophy. Both engines will be combined with an automatic dual-clutch. With lower front and rear (20 and 10 mm respectively), the Trophy version can also optionally receive an advanced exhaust system.
The Clio RS 220 Trophy will be able to reach the 100 km/h mark in 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 235km/h.
