German auto tuner HGP has created the world's most powerful version of the Golf RVolkswagen Golf R DSGGermany, 2010 > present3 photos
. The €65,000 car packs 745ps and 925Nm of torque by strapping two turbos to the 3.6-liter V6 found in the Passat R36Volkswagen Passat R36Germany, 2008 > present4 photos
, and it still uses the seven-speed DSG and all-wheel drive. HGP calls the car the R36 BiTurbo.
Other modifications include special tuning software, a higher flow fuel system and wider diameter exhaust
HGP says that the car will accelerate to 100km/h in 3.1 seconds.
HGP also offers a version of the car with a six-speed DSG, but power decreases to 530ps and 700Nm of torque.
