Toyota Bringing GRMN Twincharged GT86 to Goodwood

will bring the GRMN-tuned, Gazoo Racing Meister Nürburgring, supercharged and turbocharged version of the GT 86Toyota GT 86Japan, 2012 > present9 photos
to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. 

The car takes the normal, 2.0 liter boxer four-cylinder and pumps it up from 200hp to 316hp and 310.5lb-ft of torque. In addition to the engine modifications, the car gets a track-focused suspension, larger brakes, 18in wheels and quad-exhausts at the rear. The upgraded suspension causes the car to sit 95mm above the ground. The GRMN GT 86 also gets a bodykit that includes a rear spoiler. The interior gets a full roll cage, bucket seats and four-point harnesses. It also added gauges for turbo boost, water temp and oil temp. The GRMN weighs 1280kg that is about 90kg more than the stock car. 

GRMN has not said whether it will produce the twincharger kit for sale. The car is just a proof of concept for now.
