The Sport Sedan was presented by Nissan at the 2014 NAIAS.
Power comes from Nissan’s 3.5-liter V6 with over 300hp at the front wheels and sport-tuned Xtronic CVT. It also has a sport-tuned suspension.
The Sport Sedan Concept is meant to mix sports car proportions with the room provided by a sedan. The design comes from the Nissan Design America studio in San Diego, California. It carries all of Nissan’s next generation styling tricks like a V-shaped grill, “floating” roof and boomerang-shaped headlights. Similar designs were used for the Resonance and Friend-ME concepts that are also meant to enter production in the future. To create the floating roof, Nissan uses black A- and B-pillars hidden behind glass and a metallic C-pillar that flows into the roof.
The interior also has cues for future production cars. It combines premium materials like diamond-shaped quilted leather, high-contrast colors and metal accents.
