The Opel Insignia 2.0 Turbo Sport was launched in 2010. It is the 1st generation of the executive model. Powered by a 1998cc engine, this version has a power output of 220 hp. This hatchback is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 7.6 seconds at a maximum speed of 242 km/h. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. In terms of efficiency, this executive-version's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 8.2 l/100km. It has a boot volume of 530 l. Although it can be extended by lowering the back seats.
