The Opel Insignia is a large family car marketed since 2008. In 2009 the Opel Insignia was voted European Car of the Year.
The 2011 Insignia ecoFLEX 2.0 CDTI Cosmo Adaptive 4x4 is powered by a four-cylinder 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 160hp at 4000rpm and a torque of 350Nm at 1750rpm. This 4-door saloon is equiped with a 6-speed manual transmission and has a fuel consumption of 6 l/100km in combined cycle and 161 g/km of co2 emissions.

Opel
Opel entered the automobile business in 1899, selling Opel-Lutzmann cars, the first of them being the “Patent Motor Car”. Partnership between Opel and Lutzman was terminated in 1901 and Adam Opel’s son initiated a new contract with the French carmaker Darracq that allowed the German company to built Opel-Darracq cars. These cars received their chassis from Darracq and their bodies from Opel.
