The Peugeot 206 is a supermini vehicle marketed by the French manufacturer since 1998. Production of the model ceased in 2010, only the 206+ which was launched in 2009, is still produced in Europe.

The 206 hatchback was initially available with 1.1L, 1.4L, and 1.6L petrol engines and a 1.9L diesel engine. In 1999 a 2.0L GTi and in 2003 a GTi Peugeot 206 RC joined the line-up.
In 2001 the 206 CC and the 206 SW were added and four years later, in 2005, a 4-door notchback sedan version was presented.

The 206+, the only version of the model which is still produced today, is a facelifted version of the 206.
