The Peugeot 508 SW GT 2.2 HDi was launched in 2011. It is the 1st generation of the mid-size model. At a cost of £30.275, it is the flag-ship of the line-up. Powered by a straight 4 2179cc engine the model variant achieves up to 204 hp and a maximum torque of 450 nm. The estate (station wagon) achieves the highest power value compared to the other versions. The 508 SW GT 2.2 HDi is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 8.4 seconds at a maximum speed of 232 km/h. The car has a transmission with 6 speeds and automatic gearbox with front wheel drive. With a combined fuel consumption of 5.9 l/100km, it emits 154 g/km of CO2. The version of the 508 features rack & pinion steering, and it wears disc brakes. It has a boot volume of 612 l. Although it can be extended by lowering the back seats.
