RAM was a Formula 1 team founded by Mike Ralph and John McDonald in 1975. The team used chassis from other marques and was only capable of presenting its own car in the last two years of its life. Starting with Formula 3 Championship, RAM entered the Formula 1 Championship in 1976 and 1977. It returned in 1983 to manage and ran March’s team. In 1984, Ralph and McDonald finally built their own car, but the team ended in 1985 for lack of funding.
