The 2010 Laguna received a new front end with 'eyelid' headlights, wide foglamps long bonnet and pearlescent black grille. This Laguna uses more chrome trimming to highlight the design of the model. The new Laguna features Renault’s four-wheel steering 4Control chassis that delivers better cornering precision, driveability and obstacle avoidance ability, manoeuvrability, stability and safety.

This technology is  offered with a choice of five powerplants: one petrol engine (the 2-litre turbo automatic) and four diesels (dCi 130, dCi 150, dCi 180 and the new dCi 175, again with automatic transmission), depending on country. The engine range of the new Laguna is completed by the two-litre E85 petrol engine and the dCi 110. Four of the engines available are badged with Renault’s eco² signature. One of those engines is the dCi 110 that has a fuel consumption of 4.7 litres/100km, equivalent to CO2 emissions of 120g/km.
