The Celestial Phantom takes inspiration from the first Phantom built under BMW Group’s ownership at midnight on January 1, 2003. The long wheelbase car is supposed to appear elegant and delicate and comes in an exclusive dark blue color with glass particles in the paint that is meant to evoke the night sky. The Spirit of Ecstasy is lit from below while driving.

The interior has an LED-embedded Starlight Headliner that depicts the constellations that were in the sky at the Goodwood factory on January 1, 2003. The leather is a color called dusk that is supposed to be the color of the night sky. The clock in the rear contains four diamonds. The picnic set comes with hand-engraved glasses with portions of the celestial motif from the headliner.
