The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé Aviator Collection was presented at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The cars draw on the company's long aviation past by using special colors and trims. There was a time when Rolls-Royce engines held the speed records on land, air and water.
The cars are painted Aviator Grey with a matt hood, window surrounds and grill.
The big upgrades come inside. The car has veneered mahogany and brushed stainless steel trim. It also features a Thommen aviation-grade watch mounted on the center console. The instruments are trimmed in black dials. The transmission tunnel is covered in anodized aluminum with exposed torx screws that is carried over to the arm rests as well. This touch is meant to reference the Rolls-Royce Supermarine S6B that won the Schneider Trophy in 1931. One final touch is leather floor mats.
