Debuted in 2007, the Scion xD Automatic belongs to the 1st generation of the xD model. Powered by a straight 4 1798cc engine the model variant achieves up to 130 hp and a maximum torque of 170 nm. The engine is mated with a 4-speed automatic transmission. In terms of efficiency, this car's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 8.4 l/100km. As for the seating arrangement, it offers space for up to 5 persons. This Scion has rack & pinion steering. At the front it uses disc brakes and at the rear drum brakes. The front suspension is macpherson strut while at the rear torsion-beam axle is employed.
