History, Development and General Characteristics

In 2002, Seat presented the third generation Ibiza, which was launched with the goal of giving the brand a sportier image, as well as making it known for producing performance cars.
Two ‘hot hatches’ were added to the Ibiza Mk3’s variant range, the Ibiza Cupra and the Ibiza FR, impersonating this model’s performance variants.
For the 2008 model year, the Ibiza Mk3 has been sold alongside its own successor, that being the fourth generation Ibiza.
