The Yeti Xtreme is a sports SUV with rally features introduced by Skoda at the 2014 Wörthersee festival.
With the Yeti Xtreme, Skoda's designers intended to convert the popular compact SUV model into a rally vehicle with AWD, strong design elements and specific rally equipment.
The Xtreme concept is equipped with a 1.8 TSI 150hp engine with six-speed dual-clutch DSG gearbox. With a maximum torque of 250Nm, achieved between 1,500 and 4,200 rpm, the Yeti Xtreme accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 192km/h. The vehicle also receives the Octavia RS special brakes.
With a visually striking matte-gray paint and fluorescent yellow accents, the Yeti Xtreme receives alloy wheels 17 inch and large off-road tires. The side windows, the roof and parts of the rims were painted in fluorescent yellow. At the front, the Xtreme has a robust bumper and a large air intake, as well as LED headlights. For efficient sports use, the chassis height can be adjusted.
At the rear, the bumper was designed in the image of robustness of a rally vehicle and includes two large exhaust vents, which have an expressive sound due to the absence of silencers. The trunk also has special plates to assist the vehicle in case it gets stucked in the sand.
The Yeti Xtreme gets an interior with rally features and includes some competition equipment. The vehicle includes four individual Recaro sports seats with integrated four-point seat belts. In addition, the Xtreme receives the "Super Sport" steering wheel with integrated paddles. The designers have used high quality materials inside the vehicle.
The color scheme was also brought from the outside to the inside, with a Alcantara covering and details in dark green. The trimming details include aluminum pedals and door sills. The instrument panel has also been redesigned and receives features from a rally car. A support for an iPad was integrated into the dashboard.
