The Fourjoy was launch by smart to show the brand’s future with a four-seat car.

The Fourjoy is minimal in the extreme. It has no doors, no rear windows and an open roof, which means more emphasis has been put on the interior because there are little exterior to speak of. The car is 799mm longer and 419mm wider than a current Fortwo.

However, the design is still clearly from Smart. It has short overhangs and a tridion safety cell. It is painted in white pearlescent paint, and the safety cell is polished aluminum.

Power comes from a 74hp electric motor with a 17.6kWh battery pack. It means that the car does not really need a grill to bring in air to cool the engine. Instead, the Smart emblem is placed in the middle of the front and surrounded by a honeycomb that it is incorporated into the front.

The interior features two, individually molded seats and a single, molded bench in the rear. The seats’ rear is covered in chrome. ...
