Released by SsangYong in 2005 the Kyron is a compact 'soft-roader' SUV built by the Korean car manufacturer. Powered by a 104 kW (139 hp)/310 N·m (230 lb·ft) Mercedes-Benz diesel engine the Kyron was designed by British designer Ken Greenly.
In an attempt of getting rid of the criticism of the original version and to improve the company's image, the Kyron received a facelift in 2007.
