The rooftop track at Lingotto Fiat Factory

Just learned about this amazing factory Fiat built in Lingotto near Turin that opened in 1923...including a rooftop test track. That must have been pretty avant-garde back then!

I am there very often. It is now a mall, with shops, cinema, and 2 hotels, where I stay very often. You can ask the key to the hotel reception to go make your jogging on the roof top.

And yes, it features in the original Italian Job movie. And the building you see on the right is still used by FIAT. Marchionne has one office there.
