that Cavalli has designed. Each year since 2001, Mini donates a car to the charity event in Vienna and a famous designer or designers would put his or her personal stamp on the car. The cars are auctioned for HIV and AIDS prevention during the Life Ball. In the 13 years that Mini has been donating cars, they have raised over €500,000 for charity.
Cavalli styled his Paceman with iridescent that shifts from black to brown depending on the light. The designer's logo is on the roof of the car. He also covered the interior with leather of his own design.
"This MINI was an exciting and wonderful project for me. It gave me the opportunity to be creative and finally use something very special, which I have personally invented and already used for years for my own vehicles: it is a unique iridescent paint which changes color depending on the way the light illuminates the pigments," said Cavalli.
This year's Life Ball will be held on May 25, and it will also be on display at the opening of Cavalli's new store in Vienna "Goldenes Quart1er” on May 24.
