Model B Doctor’s Coupé during the band's 1968/1969 US tour. He bought the car on the spot thanks to just signing the band to Atlantic Records and shipped the car back with the band's gear in 1969.

Grant loved the car in England but the car needed lots of upkeep, and he hired someone to take car of it. That man bought the Pierce Arrow after Grant died in 1995 and still owns it. The car will go up for auction on November 24 by Historics at Brooklands.

The car has been serviced and kept road legal since the current owner has had it, and it has been transferred to the south of France each summer to be driven. The car was recently refreshed with a new radiator, cooling fan and brakes.

The car is dark blue with a black leather interior and a white hood. It rides on vintage-looking white wall tires. Historics at Brooklands says that the car is completely road legal and road ready.

The Model B was part of Pierce-Arrow's new line of cars for 1929. They used a new 6.0-liter flat head straight-eight engine. Famous comedian Charlie Chaplin also owned a 29 Pierce Arrow.

Historics at Brooklands estimates that the car will sell for between £68,000 - £78,000.
