CEO Alan Mulally denies that he will take the CEO position at Microsoft, despite months of speculation that he would take the soon-to-be-open job.

"I would like to end the Microsoft speculation because I have no other plans to do anything other than serve Ford," said Mulally in an interview with the Associated Press.

He further said: “You don't have to worry about me leaving.”

Microsoft announced in August 2013 that CEO Steve Ballmer would be stepping down in the future.

Mulally has been Ford CEO since 2006. He came to the company from a role as a leading executive at Boeing.
