Porsche Sales Jump up 14.6% in October

sold 13,393 cars worldwide in October, up 14.6% from the previous October. From January to October, it has sold 133,140 cars worldwide, a 14.7% increase.

“We got off to a good start in quarter four and were able to continue our course for growth across all regions in October. We are now looking forward to the world premieres of the MacanMacanPorsche MacanGermany, 2013 > present1 photo
at the Los Angeles Auto Show and the Panamera Turbo S at the Tokyo Motor Show,” said Bernhard Maier, Porsche head of sales and marketing.

Regionally in October, Porsche sales were up 21.2% in Europe to 4,442 cars. It sold 4,152 cars in North America, up 10.3%, and Porsche sold 4,799 cars in Asia, Africa and the Middle East, up 12.7%.

For the year from January through October, the Asia, Africa, Middle East region is the company’s largest with 49,879 sales, up 18.1%. It has sold 42,131 cars in Europe, up 3.6%. North American sales for the year so far are 41,130 cars, up 24.1%.

The company’s bestselling model continues to be the CayenneCayenne Gen.2Porsche Cayenne Gen.2Germany, 2010 > 201727 versions
