chassis. The livery is an interpretation of Alpine's classic blue and orange. Although, the blue appears darker than on the classic cars.

"Our aim is to be competitive in endurance racing’s highly competitive LMP2 class. We will use the different test sessions that are planned, as well as the first two rounds of the ELMS, to prepare for June’s Le Mans 24 Hours which is clearly the focal point of the season,” said Signatech-Alpine Team Principal Philippe Sinault.

Nelson Panciatici and Pierre Ragues will drive the car for the entire season, and Tristan Gommendy will join the team for Le Mans. Its track debut will come on March 26 for the ELMS test at Paul Ricard.

The team might have a good chance to score a positive result at Le Mans. Last year, Signatech's best car was fourth in class with Panciatici behind the wheel.

Alpine has one overall win at Le Mans to its name. It won the 1978 race with the A442BAlpine A442BFrance, 1978 > present1 photo
