, with the respective M6 versions. However, the differences are hardly detectable.

The exterior design has undergone minor changes including a redesigned front bumper, new kidney-shaped grille, new headlights with LED high beams, a reworked rear bumper and new wheels.

To eliminate past criticisms about the interior of the 6 Series, the updated model receives higher quality materials. New combinations of two-tone leather have been included on the list of options, in addition to the latest version of the heads-up display from the German brand.

The engine range of the updated 6 Series has been improved in terms of efficiency which helps the engine range meet the EU6 standards. The modifications allowed marginal gains in acceleration and performance, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions reduction.

The range of petrol engines includes a turbocharged 3.0-liter in line six-cylinder engine with 320hp and 450Nm torque in the 640i and the 650i with the 4.4-liter V8 engine with 450hp and 650Nm of torque. The latter version in the rear-wheel drive coupe variant is faster than the previous one, with an acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds while reaching a top speed of 250km/h.

Among the diesel engines is the six-cylinder in-line 3.0-liter with 313hp and 630nm of torque 640d. In the rear-wheeld drive coupe version the 640d improves its combined consumtion to 5.2l/100km and CO2 emissions to 139g/km.

The new 6 Series come standard with an automatic eight-speed. There will also be versions available with the all-wheel drive system xDrive. The faster version is the 650i xDrive that can reach 100km/h in 4.4 seconds.

M6, M6 Cabriolet and M6 GranCoupé

BMW also revealed the new M6 Coupe, Cabriolet and GranCoupé which continue to be equipped with the same 4.4-liter V8 petrol engine with 560hp and 680Nm torque. The power of the M6 is transmitted by a dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox and the electronic differential M.

The coupe version reaches 100km/h in 4.2 seconds and a limited top speed of 250km/h. The vehicle has an average fuel consumption of 9.9l/100km and CO2 emissions of 231g/km.
