with more powerful and new styling.
Honda is keeping relatively quiet about the car for now, but it says that both the petrol engine and the electric motor make more power than previously, but emissions and fuel economy remain exactly the same. The exterior is also getting a slight refresh. The teaser image that Honda released shows that the car has a new front bumper with a new shape for the central air intake and LED running lights. Honda will reveal the specs and details about the car at the Paris Motor Show.
The current version produces 122hp and 128lb-ft of torque. Its electric motor produces 13hp and 58lb-ft of torque.
Any increase in power for the CR-Z will be welcome and maintaining fuel economy is another plus. The car needs something to make it more attractive to North American buyers. Honda America has sold 3,126 of them through August of this year compared to 9.635 through August of last year. It is the Honda brand's worst selling vehicle in North America.
Honda America said that North America will get the aesthetic changes but could not confirm whether it would get the power boost.
