The design is complemented by a  panoramic roof that goes all the way until the extended roof spoiler which adds to the aerodynamic efficiency.

Volkswagen has equipped the ID concept with a 170 electric motor, which according to the brand offers an range of 400 and 600 kilometres on a single battery charge, depending on driving. The ID concept is also available with an autonomous driving mode, which should be available in production models from 2025.

The new electric concept is the first to be built based on VW’s Modular Electric Drive.
